Obituary for Michelle R. Chandler

WATERLOO, IOWA - Michelle R. Chandler, 35, of Waterloo, formerly of Moline, Illinois, died Wednesday, December at UnityPoint - Allen Hospital, Waterloo.

She was born June 9, 1979, in Moline, daughter of Mitchell Griffiths and Lori Chandler.

She is survived by two daughters, Emily Chandler of Waterloo and Maddison Baca of Rock Island, IL; her mother Lori (Ed) Spilman of Waterloo; father, Mitchel “Mike” (Rose) Griffiths of Moline, IL; a brother, Michael (Terri) Griffiths of Moline; two sisters, Sara (James) Murray of Aledo, IL and Ashley (Martin) Spilman of Rock Island, IL; a step brother, Ryan (Jana) Veloz of East Moline, IL; a step sister, Terri (Steve Stewart of Colona, IL; grandmother, Doris Chandler of Colona, IL; great grandmother, Lois Dean of Colona; her uncle and aunt, Larry and Sherri Chandler of Colona, IL; and cousins, Breana and Brooke Chandler of Colona, IL.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Ronald Chandler; paternal grandparents, Jack Griffiths and Sherri Anderson.

Family Directed Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2014 at the Community Church of the Nazarene, 507 1st St., Colona, Illinois.
