CEDAR FALLS, IOWA - Eileen G. Aurand, 83, of Cedar Falls died Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at the Cedar Valley Hospice Home in Waterloo.

She was born April 12, 1931, in Wild Rose, North Dakota, daughter of Joseph and Emma (Jacobson) Thvedt. She married Wayne Aurand on August 9, 1980 in Cedar Falls.

She attended Minot State University and was an Executive Secretary with Cedar Falls Trust and Savings.

She is survived by her husband of Cedar Falls; a son, Neil Beattie of Waterloo; three daughters, Barb Bergen of Olathe, KS, Cyndie (John) Scoles of New Hartford, and Libby Aurand of St. Louis Park, KS; seven grandchildren: Chris Wolters, Nathan (Brandy) Shirk, Kai (Jeremy) Scoles, Jessica (Nick) Pitcher, Chelsea Bergen, Tia (Billy) Ackerson and Byron Bergen; eleven great grandchildren; two sisters, Ardy Andrist of Tulsa, OK, and Sharon (Rick) Walker of Lake Park, MN; two brothers, Jim (Gloria) Thvedt of Brookings, SD, and Joel Thvedt of North Dakota; and a brother-in-law, John Andrist of Fargo, ND.

She was preceded in death by her twin sister, Elaine Andrist and a step-son, David Aurand.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Nazareth Lutheran Church, Cedar Falls with inurnment at a later date in Skavo Lutheran Cemetery in North Dakota. Visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Richardson Funeral Service and also for one hour prior to the service Saturday at the church.

Memorials may be directed to Cedar Valley Hospice.
