WATERLOO, IOWA - Paulette L. Blake, 66, of Waterloo, died Thursday, March 19, 2015 at her home.

She was born July 13, 1948, in Waterloo, daughter of Paul and Hariette (Jones) Jaquis. She married Larry Brookman on August 20, 1964 in Nashua. He died April 18, 2001. She married Beryl “Buz” Blake on February 14, 2012 in Waterloo.

She was scheduling manager with Waterloo Tent and Tarp, retiring in April 2011.

She is survived by her husband, Buz; a daughter, Pamela (David) Hall of La Porte City, IA; three sons, Curt Brookman of Dysart, Trent (Diana) Brookman of Tripoli, and Scott (Lisa Peters) Brookman of Chicago, IL; two step daughters, Lisa Perkins of Waterloo and Tara (Mike) Ghafoori of Wentzville, MO; a step son, Rod (Colby) Blake of South Carolina; sixteen grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Ronnie Jaquis.

Services: 11:00 a.m. Monday at Central Christian Church, Waterloo, with burial in Greenwood Cemetery, Cedar Falls. Visitation from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Richardson Funeral Service and for one hour prior to the service, Monday at the church.
