Judith Ann Caballero (1940-2015)

Judith Ann Caballero, 75, of Cedar Falls, Iowa, died Friday, March 27, 2015, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.

She was born February 23, 1940, in Waterloo, daughter of Edward and Maxine (Shaver) Weaver. She married Michael Caballero on June 27, 1959, in Oelwein.

She graduated from Geneseo High School in 1958 and attended Upper Iowa University. She taught Preschool at Casa Montessori in Cedar Falls, retiring in 2003. Judith was a member of the St. Patrick Catholic Church Choir, Sweet Adeline’s, and a UNI Panther fan.

Survived by: her husband of Cedar Falls; three daughters, Sheila (Randy) Ford of Cedar Falls, Debbie (Rob) Skinner of Gold Canyon, AZ, and Janet Caballero of Minneapolis, MN; two sons, Mark (Jane) of Jefferson City, MO, and Tom (Jenny) of San Diego, CA; and eleven grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Carroll Weaver.

Services will be held Wednesday evening at Richardson Funeral Service: 3:45 Rosary; 4 to 6 p.m. Visitation; and 6 p.m. Memorial Service.
