Cedar Falls, Iowa - Arlene Mae Howard, age 88, of Cedar Falls, died Saturday, April 25, 2015 at Cedar Valley Hospice Home in Waterloo.

She was born April 1, 1927, daughter of Henry and Lena Christina (Palm) Lamaak, in Sac County, Iowa. She married Russell Howard on May 16, 1948 in Lakeview, Iowa. Arlene worked as a housewife.

She is survived by her son, Michael; two grandsons, James (Kara) of Denver, and Pat (Michele) of Des Moines; a sister Darlene Segebart of Ida Grove; two brothers, Melvin (Betty) Lamaak of Carroll and Ron (Ann) Lamaak or Sac City; and also by several nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her husband, son Steven, sister Viola Segebart, and brothers Merlin and Orville Lamaak.

Funeral Services will be 10:30am Tuesday at First Presbyterian Church in Cedar Falls. Visitation will be from 4-7pm Monday at Richardson Funeral Service, and also one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Cedar Falls.

Memorials may be directed to the family.
