Obituary for Sylvis LuVonne Flett

Cedar Falls, Iowa - Sylvis L. Flett, 88, of Cedar Falls died Friday, May 8, 2015, at Cedar Falls Health Care Center.

She was born February 19, 1927, the daughter of Leonard and Lily Edwards in Dows, Iowa.

She graduated from Clarion High School in 1945. On May 18, 1947, she married James Flett in Clarion. She worked as a homemaker.

She is survived by a daughter, Diana Flett of Cedar Falls, a son Calvin, five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband; two sons, Norman and Marvin; two granddaughters, Dawn and Leslie; two sisters, Joyce Spencer and Ruth Toulouse.

Funeral Services will be Wednesday at First United Methodist Church, visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday at Richardson Funeral Service in Cedar Falls, and also one hour prior to the service at church. Interment at Hillside Cemetery, Cedar Falls.
