Obituary for Donald Greenway
Waterloo, Iowa - Donald Greenway, 76, of Waterloo, died Saturday, May 23, 2015 at Unity Point Health Allen Hospital in Waterloo.
He was born March 3, 1939, in Galena, Missouri, son of Eldon and Iona (Walles) Greenway. He graduated from Crane, Missouri, High School, class of 1959, and completed a course in tool and die from Hawkeye Tech in Waterloo.
He married Sharon Bartling on April 28, 1978 in Nashua, Iowa. He worked as an inspector for John Deere, retiring in 1995.
He was survived by his wife; two sons, Tim of Waterloo and Aaron (Gleyser)of Crowley, Texas; three daughters, Leora (Mike) Buseman of Waterloo, Tammy (Ron) Mentel of Waterloo, and Jill (fiancé Ryan Larimore) of Springfield, Missouri, also by six grandchildren and one great-grandson.
Donald was preceded in death by four brothers: Joe, Jim, John, and Robert.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 27, at Cedar Valley Community Church in Waterloo. Visitation will be Tuesday, at Richardson Funeral Service, and also one hour prior to the service at church. Interment at Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens, Cedar Falls.
