Grace L. Lashbrook (1925-2015)

WATERLOO, IOWA - Grace L. Lashbrook, 89, of Waterloo, died Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at Bartels Lutheran Retirement Community in Waverly.

She was born September 17, 1925, in Hardin County, Iowa, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leo Ellison. She married Clyde G. Lashbrook on April 21, 1945 in Waterloo. He died April 9, 1978.

She worked in purchasing at John Deere for 22 years.

She is survived by two sons, Pat (Mina) Lashbrook of New Hartford, and Mike (Joan) Lashbrook of Wellsburg; four grandchildren: Bret (Marcia) Lashbrook, Kenny (Kim) Lashbrook, Patrick (Angie) Lashbrook, and Jeremy (Katy) Lashbrook; eleven great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by: a sister, Lee Connor.

Services will be held Friday, August 21, 2015, at Richardson Funeral Service with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery, New Hartford. Visitation for one hour prior to the service.
