Death: November 14, 2014Marie Hoffert Clark, 76 of Waterloo, formerly of Tavares, Florida, died Friday, November 14, at the Cedar Valley Hospice Home.
She was born January 11, 1938 in Waterloo, daughter of Marion and Florence Tournier Remetch.
Marie was employed with John Deere Waterloo Tractor Works for many years, retiring in 1990.
Survivors include her sister, Margaret (Bill) Brousseau of Coon Rapids, Minnesota; many loving nieces and nephews; and a good friend, Jeanette Alton.
She was preceded in death by three sisters: Dorothy Dunnwald, Dolores Hernandez and Ellen Stocks; and eight brothers: Walter, Richard, Alvin, Melvin, Joe, Jim, Charles and John Remetch.
Services will be Monday at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church preceded by an hour of visitation.
Memorials may be directed to the church or Cedar Bend Humane Society.
