Paul M. Kohl, Jr.

January 7, 1931 - November 12, 2014

Paul M. Kohl, Jr., 83, of Waterloo died Wednesday, November 12 at NewAldaya Lifescapes in Cedar Falls.

He was born January 7, 1931 in San Diego, Calif., son of Paul Miller, Sr. and Helen Neva Schneider Kohl. He married Marjorie Hooker October 17, 1954 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Sioux City.

Paul graduated from Waterloo West High School in 1949 and was employed with John Deere for 35 years, retiring in 1984.

Survivors include his wife, Marjorie; a son, Stephen (Sara) Kohl of Denver; two daughters, Susan (Bill) Rostad of Waynesville, Missouri, and Linda (Tab) Bartling of Indianola; seven grandchildren; one great-grandson; and a sister, Kathleen Sorenson of Waterloo.

Memorial services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, November 15, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Cedar Falls. Visitation for an hour before services at the church on Saturday.
