Biography--

Diane Lang Durst, 63, of Waterloo, Iowa, and formerly of Chicago, Illinois, died Friday, December 19, at Harmony House Health Care Center.

She was born January 18, 1951 in Chicago, daughter of Paul T. and Lois Lang Durst.

Diane received her Master Degree in Nursing from Bradley University and was a critical care nurse with Northwest Community Hospital, Arlington Heights, Illinois, for thirty years, retiring in 2011 due to health.

Survived by: her mother of The Western Home Communities, Cedar Falls; her brother, Mark (Kay) Durst of Waterloo; three nephews, Michael Durst of Waterloo, Jonathan (Linsey) Durst of Coralville, and Spc. Daniel Durst stationed in Virginia; a niece, Kristyn Durst of Marian; a great nephew, Oliver.

Preceded in death by: her father on Dec. 31, 2011.

Diane had a wonderful sense of humor, loved to travel and read mystery novels, but most of all loved to help others.

Memorial Services will be held at a later date.
