Bonnie K. Cousins, 74, of Waterloo, Iowa, died Wednesday, December 17, 2014, at Unity Point Health Systems – Allen Hospital, in Waterloo.

She was born January 12, 1940, in Cedar Falls daughter of Roger and Helen Huffman Macon. She graduated from Teachers College High School in 1958, and Pitze’s Beauty School.

She was employed with the state of Iowa as a clerk in the State Liquor Store and then as a C.N.A. at the Marshalltown Veterans Home and the Mental Health Institute, Independence.

Survived by: two sons, Michael J. Allen of San Leon, Texas and William R. “Rusty” Allen of Waterloo; a daughter, Jami S. Allen of Waterloo; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a brother, Robert (Cathy) Macon of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by: a sister, Carol S. Cooley; a grandson, Jimmy Allen.

Memorial Services will be 10 a.m. Sat., Dec. 20 at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway with inurnment in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Public visitation will be for one hour before services.

Memorials may be directed to Unity Point Hospice.
