WATERLOO - Craig Chapman, 51, of Waterloo, died Friday, Sept. 25, 2015, at Iowa Veterans Home, Marshalltown, of Pick's Disease (dementia).

He was born Sept. 24, 1964, in Cedar Falls, son of Roger and Shirley Einspahr Chapman. He married Kim Feller Tovar on Sept. 30, 2005, in Waterloo.

Craig attended Cedar Falls High School and was a master tile setter and finish carpenter. He had worked at Don Gardner Construction for 18 years. He served in the U.S. Army as a paratrooper with the 82nd Airborne Division.

Survived by: Kim Chapman; his father and stepmother, Roger and Marlys Chapman of Cedar Falls; two brothers, Randy (Sherry) and Stuart, both of Cedar Falls; a sister, Denise Prins (Jeff Fischer) of Cedar Rapids; and 10 nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his mother.

Services: 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 29, at Locke Funeral Home, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery with military rites by Iowa National Guard Honor Guard. Visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. today, Sept. 28, at the funeral home.

Memorials may be directed to the family.

Kim stayed by Craig’s side until his passing.
