Michael Gene Devine

November 10, 1966 - January 29, 2015

Michael Gene Devine, 48, of Waterloo, died at his home on Thursday, January 29, of natural causes.

He was born November 10, 1966 in Waterloo, son of William and Arvilla Drenth Devine.

Michael was employed as a machinist with Waterloo Industries for several years until becoming disabled.

Survivors include: his mother, Arvilla; two brothers, Dennis (Penny) Devine of Omaha, Nebraska; William (Julie) Devine of Lees Summitt, Missouri; three sisters, Cindy Devine of Cedar Falls, Patty (Joe) McIntoch of Winthrop, Iowa, Michelle (Matt) Bohlken of Smithville, Missouri; nine nieces and nephews; and four great nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his father, William.

Services: Monday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on South St. with inurnment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Friends may call from noon until service time.

Memorials may be directed to the family.

Michael enjoyed fishing and being outdoors. He was a wonderful son, brother and uncle.
