Everett L. Robertson

July 24, 1926 - March 21, 2015

Everett L. Robertson, 88, of Waterloo, Iowa, died Saturday, March 21, at Bickford Cottages.

He was born July 24, 1926, in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of Everett and Lillie More Robertson. He married Agnes Bina in May 17, 1948, in Waverly and she died April 16, 2005.

Everett served in the United States Army 1944-1947 and was employed as an inspector at John Deere for 34 years, retiring in 1985. He was a member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church and the VFW Post 1623.

Survivors include: two sons, Richard (April) of Williamstown, West Virginia, and John (Brenda) of San Francisco, Calif.; two daughters, Antonette Kersten of Waterloo and Barbara Johnson of Riverside, Calif.; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by: a son; Louis Robertson; a daughter Rose Ann LoMauro; a great-grandson, Austin Oldenkamp.

Services: 10:30 A.M. Thursday, March 26, at Queen of Peace Catholic Church with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Full military rites will be conducted by the Waterloo Amvets Post 19 and Evansdale Amvets Post 31. Public visitation from 5-7:30 P.M. Wednesday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on South Street, where there will be a 7 P.M. vigil service. Visitation also one hour prior to services at the church.
