Roosevelt Aldridge

May 7, 1964 - March 20, 2015

Roosevelt “Velt”, Aldridge, 50, of Waterloo, died Friday, March 20, at Covenant Medical Center.

He was born May 7, 1964, in Forrest City, Ark, the son of James Sr. and Gertrude Campbell Aldridge. He married Sarah Hoskins and they later divorced. He was currently employed at Bertch Cabinets in Waterloo.

Survivors include his father, James Sr. of Fort Worth, Texas; a son, Rashad of Waterloo; four brothers, Freddie (Teresa) Campbell, James Aldridge Jr., Lewis (Vicki) Aldridge all of Waterloo, and Jimmy Aldridge of Forrest City, Arkansas; a sister, Deborah Aldridge of Forrest City, Arkansas.

Preceded in death by: his mother, Gertrude Aldridge McKissick.

Services: Saturday, March 28, at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church with burial in Fairview Cemetery. Public visitation from 6-8 P.M. Friday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on South Street. Visitation also one hour prior to services at the church.

Roosevelt truly loved his son Rashad, his family, his music, and enjoyed fishing.
