Biography--

Vernell Yvette Wiggley, 54, of Waterloo, died Wednesday May 27, at the Cedar Valley Hospice Home.

She was born April 10, 1961, in St. Louis, Mo., the daughter of Charles W. and Evelyn Rosetta Wiggley Martin.

Vernell was employed as a dietary assistant at Ravenwood Nursing and Rehab Center for fourteen years retiring in 2014.

Survivors include: her fiancé, Michael Gamblin Jr. of Waterloo; three sons, Antwion (Summer) Wiggley, Charles (Shay Schoonover) Wiggley and Michael V. (Naomi Gordon) Gamblin all of Waterloo; a step- daughter, Theresa Gamblin Boyd of Waterloo; a step-son, Chavontae Gamblin Boyd of Waterloo; sixteen grandchildren; a brother, Wallace Martin of St. Louis, Mo; two sisters, Icey Willis and Dawn Martin both of St. Louis, Mo; a son-in-law, Corey Gardner of Waterloo; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Preceded in death by: her parents; a daughter, Evelyn Yvette Wiggley Gardner and a special aunt, Carrie Noble.

Services: Thursday, June 4, at Faith Temple Baptist Church with inurnment in Garden of Memories Cemetery at a later date. Public visitation on Wednesday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on South Street. Visitation also one hour prior to services at the church.

Memorials: may be directed to the family at 930 W.7th St. Waterloo, IA 50702 where they will receive friends.
