Dennie Wolkenhauer

April 2, 1931 - June 8, 2015

Dennie L. Wolkenhauer, 84, of Cape Canaveral, Fla., formerly of Waterloo, died Monday, June 8 at his home.

He was born April 2, 1931 in Huron, S.D. son of Louis C. and Nina Wolkenhauer. He married Jeanne Miller December 27, 1957 in Waterloo and they were later divorced.

Dennie was employed with John Deere and later with GMAC in electronic data services. He was a US Army veteran.

Survivors include two sons, Mark of Waterloo and Steve (Wendy) of Land O Lakes, Fla. and six grandchildren.

Preceded in death by a son, Tim and a sister, Phyllis Larsen.

Memorial services will be 10 am Wednesday, July 1, at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway with inurnment in Waterloo Cemetery. Public visitation will be for an hour before services.
