Biography--

Thomas J. "Tom" Kisner, 45, of Waterloo, Iowa, died at the Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland, on Tuesday, November 18, 2014.

Thomas James Kisner was born March 26, 1969, in Waterloo, the son of Robert and Theresa Zewiske Kisner. He was on the football team at Central High School and graduated in 1988.

He married Cynthia D. "Cindy" Lloyd on July 24, 1995.

Tom was an over-the-road truck driver for Baja Trucking, Wessels’ Farms, Hirschbach Motor Lines, Warren Transport, and most recently, C&A Trucking. He was a member of Cedar Valley Militia of Iowa.

Tom is survived by his wife, Cynthia “Cindy” of Waterloo; son, Cameron Edwards of Waterloo; brothers, Vern of Des Moines, Rod of Traer, and Paul of Oelwein; his mother-in-law, Mary Lloyd of Waterloo; nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and great- nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; father-in-law, Harold Lloyd; sister-in-law, Patty Kisner; and great niece, Haley Medina.

Tom was a caring, funny, outgoing guy who would help others and never ask for anything in return. He was a hard worker and excellent provider. Tom enjoyed going fishing, target shooting, playing poker, and spending time with family; he especially loved his five great-nieces.
