Biography--

Marlys Jean Stallman, 86, of Friendship Village, died Monday, Nov. 24, at Friendship Village Health Pavilion.

She was born June 27, 1928, in Waterloo, Iowa, the daughter of Martin and Martha Schwanke Stallman.

Marlys graduated from East High School in 1946. She was a beautician in Waterloo for many years, retiring in 1989.

She is survived by two brothers, Martin (Elaine Bruns) Stallman Jr. of Waterloo and Marvin (Wilma) Stallman of Cedar Falls; a niece and nephew; two great-nieces and a great-nephew, and by two great-great-nieces.

She was preceded in death by two nieces.
