Biography--

Brian L. Schwab, 43, of Waterloo, died Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at Select Specialty Hospitals in Des Moines, Iowa.

He was born August 2, 1972 in Waterloo, the son of Dick and Dianne Thompson Schwab. He graduated from East High School in 1991 and then attended and graduated from Hawkeye Community College with an AAS degree in Automotive Body Repair.

Brian worked for Deery Brothers Collision Center for a number of years. He was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church. Brian had a big heart, was very outgoing, and liked being around people. He enjoyed time with friends and family and loved his dogs. Brian was known as "Uncle B" to everyone's kids.

Brian is survived by his brother Brad (Missy) Schwab of Waterloo; niece Marissa and nephew Joseph; uncle Donald (Janice) Schwab of Waterloo; aunt Doris (Harold) Saathoff of Waterloo; as well as his beloved dog, Venus.

Brian was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, August 24, 2015 at Concordia Lutheran Church, 1005 West Parker, Waterloo

Cemetery:
Inurnment will take place at Garden of Memories Cemetery, 3669 Logan Avenue, Waterloo following the service.
