WATERLOO - Marie Hoffert Clark, 76, of Waterloo, formerly of Tavares, Fla., died Friday, Nov. 14, 2014, at Cedar Valley Hospice Home.

She was born Jan. 11, 1938, in Waterloo, daughter of Marion and Florence Tournier Remetch.

Marie was employed with John Deere Waterloo Tractor Works for many years, retiring in 1990.

Survived by a sister, Margaret (Bill) Brousseau of Coon Rapids, Minn.; many loving nieces and nephews; and a good friend, Jeanette Alton.

Preceded in death by three sisters, Dorothy Dunnwald, Dolores Hernandez and Ellen Stocks; and eight brothers, Walter, Richard, Alvin, Melvin, Joe, Jim, Charles and John Remetch.

Services: 10 a.m. Monday at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, preceded by an hour of visitation. Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on South Street is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be directed to the church or Cedar Bend Humane Society.
