WATERLOO - Paul M. Kohl Jr., 83, of Waterloo, died Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2014, at NewAldaya Lifescapes, Cedar Falls.

He was born Jan. 7, 1931, in San Diego, son of Paul Miller Sr. and Helen Neva Schneider Kohl. He married Marjorie Hooker on Oct. 17, 1954, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Sioux City.

Paul graduated from Waterloo West High School in 1949 and was employed with John Deere Waterloo Tractor Works for 35 years, retiring in 1984.

Survived by his wife; a son, Stephen (Sara) of Denver; two daughters, Susan (Bill) Rostad of Waynesville, Mo., and Linda (Tab) Bartling of Indianola; seven grandchildren; a great-grandson; and a sister, Kathleen Sorenson of Waterloo.

Memorial services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Cedar Falls, preceded by an hour of visitation. Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway is in charge of arrangements.
