EIGHMEY, HOPKINS, CURTIS, BLACKBURN

Committal services were held at Fairview Cemetery here Monday afternoon for Mrs. Mary Hopkins Eighmey, 87, native of Waterloo, who died Saturday in Cresco, Iowa.

She and her late husband, Orson Eighmey, pioneer residents of Eagle Center, later moved to Cedar Falls and subsequently to Des Moines.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Edith Curtis, Des Moines; Mrs. Ada Blackburn, Cresco, with whom she spent her last years, and Mrs. Lueretia Hopkins, Duluth, Minn. Several grandchildren and great-grandchildren also survive.

Roger Leavitt, Cedar Falls, an old acquaintance, conducted the committal service.
