CLARKSVILLE - Darlene Marie Jungling, 77, of Marion, formerly of Clarksville, died Monday, Nov. 7, 2005, at the Bickford Cottage, Marion, from natural causes.

She was born Feb. 20, 1928, in Waterloo, daughter of Charles and Myrtha Arends Wilmot. She married Harry Jungling on Oct. 9, 1943, in Shell Rock. He died in 1995.

Mrs. Jungling worked at the canning factory in Clarksville and was a waitress at B&G Cafe. She was employed at the Clarksville School in food service for 15 years, retiring in 1982.

Survivors include two daughters, Joy (Carey) Krull of Marion and Robin (Glenn) Cox of Los Alamos, N.M.; three grandchildren and a great-grandson; four sisters, Myrtha Rust of Clarksville, Virginia (Robert) Miller, Harriett (Keith) Westcott and Betty (Wayne) Endelman, all of Waverly; and two sisters-in-law, Dorothy Wilmot of Cedar Falls and Florence Wilmot of Clarksville.

Preceded in death by an infant daughter, Sherry; two brothers, George and Charles Wilmot; and a stillborn sister.

Memorial services: 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Community United Methodist Church, with inurnment in Lynwood Cemetery, both in Clarksville. Friends may call for an hour before services Friday at the church. Redman-Schwartz Funeral Home, Clarksville, is in charge of arrangements.
