Daniel Leland Kimball, 57, of Jesup, died Monday, Oct. 13, 2014, after a fall at his home.

He was born Sept. 7, 1957, in Waterloo, son of Burdette Arthur and Darlene Emma Tupy Kimball. On Sept. 24, 1983, he married Babette Ann Stafford at First Baptist Church, Jesup.

Daniel graduated from Jesup High School in 1975 and was employed as a shipping coordinator at O’Neal Steel, Waterloo.

Survived by his wife; a son, Derek (Kristen) of Cedar Falls; three daughters, Lindsey Kimball of Jesup, and Kristin and Kaylee Kimball, both at home; three grandchildren, Viola, Gideon and Charlotte Kimball; his mother of Jesup; a brother, Steve (Diane) of Dunkerton; and two sisters, Deb (Paul) McCollum of Centerville, Ohio, and Becky (Terry) McBride of Fort Irwin, Calif.

Preceded in death by his father; and a daughter, Melissa Kimball.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Jesup Bible Fellowship, with burial in Cedar Crest Cemetery, Jesup. Visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at White Funeral Home, Jesup, and for an hour before services Saturday at the church.
