WATERLOO - Mary Beth Elin, 81, of Waterloo, died Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2014, at Cedar Valley Health Care Center, Cedar Falls.

She was born Dec. 12, 1932, in Waterloo, daughter of Garold and Alice Wagstrom Yeager. On July 10, 1955, she married Gerald Elin at Westminster Presbyterian Church, Waterloo.

Mary Beth graduated from Waterloo West High School. She was employed for many years in the printing industry and was a member of Unity Presbyterian Church (formerly Immanuel Presbyterian Church).

Survived by her husband; two sons, Greg (Maggie) of Waverly and Dave (Carol) of Morrison, Colo.; a daughter, Sue (Carl) Hamer of Waterloo; three grandsons, Justin and Ryan (Melissa) McDaniel and Dustin (Colleen) Elin; five stepgrandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Linda (Steve) Brehmer of Minneapolis and Julie (Dan) Findsen of Farmington, Minn.

Preceded in death by her parents; her stepmother, Millie Yeager; a sister, Donna Kephart; and a brother, Dean Yeager.

Services: 11 a.m. Monday at Unity Presbyterian Church, where visitation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. today. Parrott & Wood Chapel of Memories, an Overton Family Service, is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be directed to the church.
