CEDAR FALLS - Charles Bernard "Chuck" Rowzee, 80, of Murrieta, Calif., formerly of Cedar Falls, died Friday, April 3, 2007, at Hospice Manor Care, Hemet, Calif.

He was born Jan. 23, 1927, to William Charles Rowzee and Alberta Byers Rowzee. He married Pauline "Polly" Cannon on Aug. 9, 1945, in Memphis, Tenn.

Mr. Rowzee served in the U.S. Navy from 1942 to 1944, and was a truck driver in California, retiring from S&M Freightline.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Sondra Sue; three grandsons and seven great-grandchildren; and a brother-in-law, Gene Gabbard of Cedar Falls.

Preceded in death by a sister, Betty Gabbard; and a brother, Donald Rowzee.

Private memorial service: was held for family members. Arrangements were handled by the Neptune Society of California.
