Services for Sherman W. Briner, 82, a former Waterloo resident recently of St. Petersburg, Fla., will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Seminole-Beach Funeral Home, St. Petersburg, with burial in Serenity Gardens Cemetery at Largo, Fla. He died Monday at Largo.
He was born Feb. 25, 1893, in Janesville, son of John and Lois Cooper Briner. He married Helen Duenow. He worked at Rath Packing Co. in Waterloo until his retirement.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Burdett 0. of Balsam Lake, Wis., and Romayne W. of Seminole, Fla.; two sisters, Mrs. Bertha Livingstone and Mrs. A. V. Anderson, both of Waterloo.
