Vi-Ann Irene Graveman, 70, of Dumont, formerly of Waterloo, died Wednesday, May 6, at Franklin General Hospital, Hampton, of natural causes.

She was born Sept. 3, 1938, in Titonka, daughter of Harry A. and Frances E. Norris Trasamar. She married George "LeRoy" Graveman on June 1, 1957, in South Sioux City, Neb.

Mrs. Graveman graduated from Waterloo West High School in 1956. While in high school she was an operator for the telephone company in Waterloo. Following graduation, she attended Gates Business School and Pitzi's Beauty School, both in Waterloo. She owned a beauty salon in Washburn for a while before working in production for the Waterloo Register until it closed. She then went to work for Deere & Co., retiring in 1998, during which time she owned and operated The Second Shift Lounge, Waterloo. Following retirement she co-owned The Horseshoe Lounge, Dumont. She was a member of UAW Local 838 in Waterloo.

Survived by her husband of Waterloo; a daughter, Coral (Denny) McGeough of Cedar Falls; two sons, LeRoy "Dean" of Prattville, Ala., and Gaylen of Dumont; six grandchildren Ryan (Danielle) McGeough of Baton Rouge, La., Jake Graveman of Prattville, Briana McGeough of Providence, R.I., Janey Graveman of Cedar Falls, and Alicia Graveman and Stephanie Graveman, both of Dumont; a brother, Gaylen "Buzz" (Teri) Trasamar of Waterloo; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by a nephew, Blain Trasamar; and a sister-in-law, Alicia Trasamar.

Services: 1:30 p.m. Friday at Parrott & Wood Chapel of Memories, an Overton Family Service, Waterloo. Public visitation from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the chapel.
