Darlene F. Klinker, 72, of Waterloo, died Thursday, January 15, 2004 at her residence.

She was born April 13, 1931 in Waterloo, Iowa, daughter of Christ and Marie Lindberg Pedersen. She graduated as Salutatorian from West High School. She married Edward E. Klinker on October 11, 1952. He died April 21, 1994.
Darlene was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church where she was involved in helping in the kitchen and the quilting circle. She always enjoyed volunteering at Adults Inc..

She is survived by her two sons, Frank and his wife Frances of Wilder, Idaho; Earl and his wife Lynn of Des Moines; two daughters, Elaine and her husband Bill Hollis of Scott City, MO; Frances and her husband Carl Roberts of Peyton, CO; five grandchildren: Alicia, Jessica Sara David and Brianna; one great grandson: Raven.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Robert Klinker; brother: Russell Pedersen and sister, Lillian Gordon.
