CEDAR FALLS — Graydon T. Fuller, 85, of Cedar Falls, died Monday, April 19, 2010, at the Western Home Communities Martin Center.

He was born July 19, 1924, in Cedar Falls, son of Graydon "Ted" Sr. and Josephine Markussen Fuller. He married Jeanette Eells in Fairbank on June 14, 1946.

Mr. Fuller graduated from Cedar Falls High School in 1942 and attended Iowa State Teachers College (UNI) for a year. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was employed as an electroplater and in shipping and receiving at Doerfer Engineering for 25 years, retiring in 1990. In 1941 he won the State High Board Diving Championship, and later became the diving coach for the Cedar Falls High School swim team.

Survived by his wife; and a daughter, Janae Fuller of Lexington, Mo.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Friday at First United Methodist Church, with burial in Fairview Cemetery. Public visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Richardson Funeral Home, and for an hour before services Friday at the church.

Memorials may be directed to the Alzheimer’s Association or Winnebago Council Boy Scouts of America.

Graydon loved singing and was very loyal to the United Methodist Church choir and the Les Hale Metropolitan Chorale, and sang for many weddings and funerals.
