Mary M. Frost (nee Schares), age 82, formerly of Waterloo, departed from this life on Friday, March 31, 2006, at The Moorings of Arlington Heights, Ill., after a short illness.

A memorial Mass in celebration of her life will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 13, at St. Edward's Catholic Church.

She was the beloved wife of the late Orville John Frost for 57 years, and the loving mother of five children, Sandi (John) Dvorak, Sharon Moffat (Don Moffat), Dan (Ann) Frost, Douglas (Pam) Frost and the late Darrell Frost; cherished grandmother of eight grandchildren, Suzanne, Michael, Margaret, Sarah, Amy, Julie, Steven and Mary; and two great-grandchildren, John and Keira. She also is survived by a brother and sister, Alvie Schares and Sr. Francis Clare SSSN; special aunt to many nieces and nephews; and dear friend and neighbor to all who knew her.

She was employed at Rath Packing Co. for many years.

Interment will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Waterloo. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Columbus High School Scholarship Fund, Waterloo.
