WATERLOO - Lyle G. Reisner, 77, of Waterloo, died Monday, May 1, 2006, at Cedar Valley Hospice Home of natural causes.

He was born Jan. 18, 1929, in West Union, son of Harold L. and Linda Margaret Schatz Reisner, and was raised by his aunt and uncle, Selma and Rudy Koester. He married Shirley Ann Marie Schlegel on Jan. 12, 1949. She preceded him in death. He married Judith J. Herrmeyer Bridges on March 29, 1986, in Arizona City, Ariz.

Mr. Reisner attended West Union High School. He had been a charter member of East Black Hawk County Lions Club and the Waterloo-Cedar Falls Board of Realtors. He was a salesman for US Homes, Inc., for many years and was an entrepreneur in the construction business.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Trudy (Gary) Marovets of Cedar Rapids and Natalie (Leroy) Martin of Evansdale; a son, Dick (Jane) of Evansdale; two stepdaughters, Lavonne (Kim) Boucher of Lakeside-Pinetop, Ariz., and Penny (Bill) Brackett of Buckeye, Ariz,; a stepson, Arnold (Jeannie) Bridges of Arizona City; six grandchildren, eight stepgrandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 10 stepgreat-grandchildren.

Services: 10 a.m. Wednesday at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, Evansdale, with burial in Garden of Memories, Waterloo. Public visitation 4 to 7 p.m. today at Parrott and Wood Chapel of Memories, an Overton Family Service, and for an hour before services Wednesday at the church.

Memorials may be directed to Cedar Valley Hospice.
