WATERLOO - G. David Bisone, 81, of Waterloo, died Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2014, at Lakeview Landing.

He was born March 24, 1933, in Ames, son of Albert and Kathryn Peterson Bisone.

He married Beverly Stirm on Aug. 1, 1958, in Waterloo.

David attended Waterloo West High School and was employed at Deere & Co. for 30 years, retiring in December 1998 as a supervisor.

Survived by his wife; a son, Dave (Joan) of Stevens Point, Wis.; two grandchildren, Emily Bisone and Ben Bisone; two sisters, Josephine “Jo” (Phil) Ringgenberg of Minneapolis and Joan (Diane) Ayers of Fall River, Mass.; a brother, John (Cathy) Ayers of Des Moines; and a sister-in-law, Maggie Ayers of Spring Grove, Ill.

Preceded in death by two brothers, Jim Ayers and Jim Bisone.

Services: 9 a.m. Saturday at St. Edward Catholic Church, with burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway, where there will be a 4 p.m. rosary and a 7 p.m. vigil. Visitation will continue for an hour before services Saturday at the church.

Memorials: may be directed to Cedar Valley Hospice or St. Edward Catholic Church.
