WATERLOO - Mary Easter, 95, of Waterloo, died Saturday, Sept. 6, 2014, at Lakeview Lodge, Friendship Village.

She was born Dec. 7, 1918, in Fort Dodge, daughter of Albert and Marie Brinley. She married Howard Easter in 1941 in Cedar Falls. He died Sept. 21, 2011.

Mary graduated from Malcolm Price Laboratory School in 1936 and attended Iowa State Teachers College. She was an English teacher in both Illinois and Iowa.

Preceded in death by her parents; and a son, Larry.

Graveside services: 10 a.m. Wednesday at Garden of Memories Cemetery. Visitation from 4 to 6 p.m. today at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, Cedar Falls.
