CEDAR FALLS - Frances E. Fink, 96, of Cedar Falls, died Sunday, Sept. 7, 2014, at the Western Home Communities-Windhaven.

She was born Aug. 12, 1918, in Seattle, daughter of Harvey and Florence Vaughn Baird. She married Robert D. Fink on Feb. 23, 1946, in Cedar Falls; he died Jan. 14, 2007.

Fran graduated from Cedar Falls High School in 1936, attended Iowa State Teachers College (UNI) and graduated from Monmouth College in 1942 in Monmouth, Ill. She worked at IBM from 1942-1946 in systems services. She was a member of PEO Chapter KL and Tuesday Club, and was a docent at the Hearst Center for the Arts.

Survived by two sons, Douglas (Ruthena) of St. Paul, Minn., and David (Susan) of St. Louis Park, Minn.; four granddaughters, Angela (Gabriel) Guererro, Amelia Fink, Kaia Fink and Mara (Garrett) Klein; and great-grandson, Gavin Guererro.

Preceded in death by a sister, Aleta Hayworth; and a granddaughter, Alicia Fink.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Friday at First United Methodist Church, with burial in Greenwood Cemetery, both in Cedar Falls. Visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Richardson Funeral Service.

Memorials may be directed to the church or Western Home Foundation.

Frances was an active member of the church where she taught Sunday School.
