WATERLOO - Caden Paxton DeVries, 3 1/2 month old son of Maurice "Scott" and Dana Leann Hanson DeVries, died at home Saturday, Aug. 30, 2014.

He was born May 12, 2014, in Waterloo.

Survived by his parents of Waterloo; a brother, Gavin of Waterloo; his maternal grandmother, Cathy Hanson of Fortuna, N.D.; and his paternal grandparents, Charles DeVries of Cambria, Calif., and Linda Linse of Des Plaines, Ill.

Preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Dennis Hanson.

Services: 1 p.m. Friday at Heartland Vineyard Church, 1405 Greenhill Road, Cedar Falls, with burial in Waterloo Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Kearns Funeral Service Kimball Chapel, and an hour before services Friday at the church.
