WATERLOO - Marilyn S. Phennicie, 62, of Waterloo, died at home Aug. 28, 2014, of natural causes.

She was born June 20, 1952, in Waterloo, daughter of Kenneth Elkma and Evelee Hansen. She married William Phennicie on Feb. 17, 1973, in Waterloo; he died in 2010.

Survived by two sons, Zach and Cody, both of Waterloo; and a sister, Elaine (Kabir) Kabir of Golden, Colo.

Preceded in death by her parents.

Memorial services: 3 p.m. Friday at George Wyth State Park Shelter (follow signs). Sanders Funeral Service is assisting the family.
