James "Doug" Kemp, 51 of Waterloo, died Friday, December 26, 2003 at Allen Hospital of natural causes.

He was born February 14, 1952, in Troy, Ohio, son of John and Stella (Feger) Kemp. He graduated from Hawkeye Community Colllege.

He married Debbie Bowser in Waterloo on May 13, 1994. He graduated from Hawkeye Community College and was a skilled tradesman as a pattern maker for 23 years at John Deere

He is surivived by his wife Debbie Kemp of Waterloo; two pet companions: Sandy and Jin; three sisters: Marsha and her husband Earl Ruetter of Akron, OH; Irene and her husband Chuck Glanville of Akron, OH; and Joyce Russell of Boulder, CO.; three brothers: John and his wife Linda Kemp of Brooklyn, NY.; Marvin Kemp of Boulder, CO. and David Kemp of Akron, OH.

Doug is preceded in death by his parents.

Services: 10 a.m. Wednesday at Locke Funeral Home His body will be cremated after the service. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p m Tuesday at the funeral home.
