CEDAR FALLS - JaNan J. McCann, 78, of Cedar Falls Lutheran Home, died Monday, March 17, 2008, at Sartori Memorial Hospital.

She was born Dec. 6, 1929, in McGregor, daughter of Gerald and Ethel Pullen Connell. On Feb. 20, 1957, she married James B. McCann in Evanston, Ill. He died Oct. 6, 1977.

Mrs. McCann graduated from McGregor High School and had been employed at Viking Pump Co..

Survived by a son, Tom (Cindy) of Cedar Rapids; a stepson, Chris (Mary) McCann of Mequon, Wis.; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by three brothers, Jack, Bill and Dutch Connell.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Patrick Catholic Church, with burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Public visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at Richardson Funeral Home, with a 4 p.m. rosary and 7 p.m. vigil service.
