Mrs. Phillip Rambach, 72, of 18 Franklin Street, died at 9:45 p. m. yesterday at Presbyterian Hospital of complications arising from a stroke.

She was born Victoria Kerns, Feb. 9, 1877, in Bremer County, Ia., the daughter of John and Teressa Kerns. She was married to Phillip Rambach, May 3, 1899, at Fairbank, Ia. They moved to Waterloo following their marriage. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic church.

Mr. Rambach preceded his wife in death three years ago.

Survivors include one brother, Bernard, Fairbank, and two sisters, Sister Mary Agatha, Dubuque, la., and Mrs. Edgar Messinger, 607 Ricker Street.

Four sisters and one brother preceded her in death.
