WATERLOO - Evelyn E. Johnson, 97, of 1547 Forest Ave., died Wednesday, April 25, 2007, at Covenant Medical Center.

She was born June 29, 1909, daughter of Arthur and Maude Lavely Enfield. She married Charles H. Johnson. He died in 1964.

Mrs. Johnson was a 1929 graduate of Waterloo East High School.

Survivors include a son, Arthur of Waterloo; three nieces, Sandra Spooner, Sally Geweke and Deborah of California; and several great-nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by a brother, Donald Enfield; and two sisters, Irene Hansen and Stella Hall.

Services: 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Locke Funeral Home, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Public visitation for an hour before services Saturday at the funeral home.
