WATERLOO - Marguerite "Marge" Prindle, 89, of Waterloo, died Thursday, Aug. 21, 2014, at Cedar Valley Hospice Home.

She was born April 24, 1925, in Oxford, daughter of John and Louise Roethler Roe. She married Charles “Max” Prindle on Nov. 20, 1943 in Waterloo. He died Nov. 21, 1991.

Survived by two sons, Richard and Denny of Waterloo; a daughter, Peggy (Jack) Eherenman of Waterloo; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and three brothers, Art “Butch” (Carmela) Roe of Galena, Mo., Frank (Donna) Roe of Waterloo and Robert Roe of Cameron, Mo.

Preceded in death by two sons, Timothy and Joseph; and a child in infancy; two brothers, John and Don Roe; and two sisters, Catherine White and Ilene Robinson.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church with burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Hagarty – Waychoff – Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway, where there will be a 4 p.m. rosary and a 7 p.m. vigil service. Visitation also for an hour before services Tuesday at the church.

Memorials may be directed to Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.
