WATERLOO - Charlotte Lorraine Stokes Hewitt, 80, of Frederick County, Va., formerly of Waterloo, died Monday, Oct. 24, at Skyline Terrace Nursing Home, Woodstock, Va.

She was born April 21, 1925, in Lester, daughter of Russell T. and Mildred Gage Stokes. She married William "Bill" Myers Hewitt on Dec. 16, 1945, in Waterloo.

Mrs. Hewitt was a homemaker and a real estate agent with Carroll Realty.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Gregory W. of Winchester, Va.; three daughters, Barbara H. Keech of Winchester, Susan H. Hairfield of Powhatan, Va., and Sally H. Wolfe of Perry, W.Va.; four grandchildren; and a sister, Rezina J. Bollie of Palm Harbor, Fla.

Services: 1 p.m. Saturday at Waterloo Memorial Park Cemetery chapel, with burial in the cemetery. Friends may call for an hour before services Saturday at the cemetery chapel. Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel on Kimball is in charge of local arrangements.
