Helen E. Reedy, 90, of Stewartville, Minn., formerly of Jesup, died Saturday, July 7, 2007, at the Stewartville Care Center, Stewartville.

She was born Oct. 4, 1916, in Waterloo, daughter of Glenn and Mary Clark Archer. In 1939 she married Elmer Paul Reedy in Waterloo. He died in 1985.

Mrs. Reedy graduated from high school in Oelwein.

Survivors include a son, Paul (Arlene) of Truth or Consequences, N.M.; five daughters, Kathleen (Dale) Nienhaus of St. Croix Falls, Wis., Sr. Annette Reedy of Eagan, Minn., Josephine (Lew) Randall of Stewartville, Regina (Duane) Bearman of Centerville and Marian (Marvin) Lamphier of Urbana; 15 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Lucille Taubeneck of Marysville, Wash.

Preceded in death by a son, Clifford; a brother, Clifford Archer; and a sister, Ida Ingham.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Athanasius Catholic Church, Jesup, with burial in the church cemetery. Public visitation from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at White Funeral Home, Jesup, with a 7 p.m. vigil service.
