EVANSDALE - Clara Buehler, 88, formerly of Evansdale, died Saturday, July 7, 2007, at Parkview Nursing & Rehab Center, Waterloo.

She was born Aug. 12, 1918, in Bentley, N.D., daughter of John and Mary Krol Treichel. She married Henry C. Buehler on Oct. 16, 1936, in Waterloo. He died March 7, 1982.

Mrs. Buehler graduated from San Diego Grossmont Union High School in 1936.

Survivors include two sons, LeRoy "Pudge" (Diane) of Waterloo and Verne "Pink" (Shirley) of Marion; a daughter-in-law, Linda Buehler of Evansdale; eight grandchildren, Dan (Diana) McCready, Dale (Nancy) McCready, Emily Buehler, Brian (Kerri) Buehler, Brent (Lindsay) Buehler, Jeff Buehler, Nathan (Carolina) Buehler and Natalie (Kory) Kilbourne; nine great-grandchildren, David, Grant and Ashley McCready, Garrett McCready, Clayton and Elijah Buehler, Thomas Buehler, and Madison and Jenna Kilbourne.

Preceded in death by two daughters, Carolyn Kay in infancy, and Florence McCready; and a son, John.

Services: 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mark's United Methodist Church, Evansdale, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery, Waterloo. Public visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Locke Funeral Home, Waterloo.
