WATERLOO - Mary Catherine Kraemer, 101, of ManorCare, formerly of 106 E. Third St., died Sunday, Oct. 1, 2006, at ManorCare of natural causes.

She was born Aug. 4, 1905, in Gilbertville, daughter of Nick and Susan Bornong Lavenz. She married Joseph H. Kraemer June 1, 1927, in Gilbertville. He died May 19, 1961.

Survived by two sons, Robert (Clare) of Mohnton, Pa., and Paul (Anna) of Fairfield; a daughter, Rosemarie (Charles) Bradford of Mishawaka, Ind.; 13 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by a grandson, Hugh Kraemer; three brothers, John, Matt and Joe Lavenz; and three sisters, Cecilia Browne, Anna Reinertson and Clara Kirch.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Friday at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, with burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Public visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on South Street, where there will be a 4 p.m. rosary, and for an hour before services Friday at the church.
