Mrs. Dora Cooley, 76, who had made her home with her sister, Mrs. Carl Yeager, 1025 Hawthorne Ave., died at Schoitz Memorial Hospital at 1 a.m. Tuesday. Death was due to a heart ailment.

She was born June 7, 1883, at Hazleton, the daughter of Lyman and Helen Merrill. She was married to Frank J. Cooley at Joliet, Ill, in July of 1930. They lived at Chicago and Oelwein before coming to Waterloo 13 years ago.

Mrs. Cooley was a member of the Westminster Presbyterian Church.

Surviving besides Mrs. Yeager are three other sisters: Mrs. Herbert Paden, Sacramento, Calif., Mrs. C. E. Miller, Yucca Valley, Calif., and Mrs. Hazel Bonhan, Round Lake, Ill., and one brother, Ray Merrill, Newport Beach, Calif.

Her husband, one sister, and one brother preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Parrott & Wood Funeral Home with Rev. Warren K. Martin, of the Westminster Presbyterian Church, officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
