Funeral services will be at 2 p. m. Friday at the Kearns-Dykeman Chapel for Mrs. Ethel Pearl Robinson, 81, of 442 Kern St., who died at 2:30 a. m. Tuesday at the Americana Nursing Center of complications incident to advanced age. She had been a patient at the center for a week.

She was born in West Liberty on Dec. 18, 1883, the daughter of Charles and Emma Dingman Hyatt and was educated in the Newton school system.

She came to Waterloo in 1900. On Jan. 12, 1903, the was married to Cass C. Robinson in Waterloo. She was a member of Walnut St. Baptist church; the auxiliary of the DAV and VFW; and a member of the Gold Star Mothers.

Surviving are two sons, Harold F, of 1027 Oregon St., and William C. of 1305 Glenny Ave.; three daughters, Mrs. Edwin Stone of 1821 Lorraine Ave., Mrs. Robert R. Miller, 922 Easton Ave., Mrs. Lucile Smith of 442 Kern St.; 17 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1938; two sons; one daughter; one brother; one grandson and one granddaughter.

Funeral services for Ethel Pearl Robinson, 81, of 442 Kern St., who died Tuesday, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Kearns-Dykeman chapel. The Rev, David L. Moore, pastor of Walnut St. Baptist church, will officiate. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
